As vice president and managing director of Jervis B. Webb Worldwide Company and Jervis B. Webb International Company, Dan Ellens oversees business development outside of the United States and Canada. He has been involved in international business for more than twenty years. While living in Bangalore, India, from 1996 until 1998, he managed the development of Webb-India Private Ltd., a joint venture that now dominates its industrial sector in India. Ellens joined the company in 1980 and has worked as a designer, estimator, project engineer, and chief engineer. He received a master’s of business administration degree from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleary College and a degree in mechanical engineering from Calvin College. He has published two books, one about his experience in India, and is an active speaker for industry association conferences and technical meetings. He has received six patents in the material handling industry.
