The Roto-Sort pusher quickly transfers baggage from one transport conveyor to either a parallel, perpendicular transport conveyor or into a chute. It consists of an aluminum-constructed long arm and short arm. The long arm carries two flat paddles, and when it rotates it reaches across the conveyor. The short arm carries the long arm, but rotates in the opposite direction. Both arms rotate when activated by a brushless servo motor equipped with a clutch/brake. The Roto-Sort is available in both clockwise and counter clockwise rotation to accommodate conveyors moving in either direction. It installs either on the floor or from suspension mountings.
The cam wheel bag pusher is a heavy-duty, electrically operated sortation device. The cam wheel pusher integrates with system sensors to determine the bag location on the belt, ensuring the bag is directed to the proper location. It uses a unique cam-shaped rotating paddle that provides maximum uptime and reliability. The distinctive swing arm design provides smoother contact with the bag, diverting it with less impact.
Both styles of Webb pushers offer:
- Simple installation
- Minimal maintenance
- Significant energy savings
- Reduced wear of components
