Farmington Hills, Mich. (October 22, 2008) - Jervis B. Webb Company - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daifuku Co., Ltd. and leading provider of material handling solutions - today announced new promotions and responsibilities for several top executives, as a result of the retirement of Susan M. Webb as President & Co-CEO.
The following executives now hold the following titles and responsibilities:
- Brian Stewart was promoted to Executive Vice President & COO. He formerly served as Sr. Vice President and COO. He will now oversee all operations for the Webb Company including the law department, human resources, manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing and Webb Worldwide entities.
- Jonathan Ball, formerly Senior Vice President & CFO of the Webb Company, has been promoted to Corporate Advisor, Daifuku Co., Ltd., and will remain an officer and member of Webb’s Board of Directors. In his new position, Ball will assist Daifuku and its global subsidiaries in developing and implementing strategies to achieve corporate growth objectives.
- John Doychich was promoted to Senior Vice President & CFO from Vice President of Finance and Accounting. He will oversee the finance and accounting department, as well as information services.
